• First of all you should apply nail varnish remover while doing your nails. You should apply it even if you do not need to remove any old nail polish because it prepares the nails by removing any grease so that your polish lasts longer.
• If you are having trouble achieving the perfect French Manicure, you can try using a white nail pencil underneath the nail tip instead of white polish. You will find that it is much easier.
• You should give your nails varnish sufficient time for each layer to dry to ensure a lasting finish.
• Make sure that you always wipe the top of the nail varnish bottle with a cotton bud. It will help you get rid of any excess polish and will also prevent the bottle from becoming glued shut.
• Remember that it is much better to apply lots of thin coats of nail-color rather that single thick one because the former will dry faster and last longer.
• You should not try to remove and reapply the nail polish more than once or twice a week. Doing so might dry out your nails. If you choose a remover with built in moisturizer, it will help limit the damage to your nails.
• Having a hand massage will certainly boost the blood circulation of your hands and thus encourage the nail growth.

Filing Your Nails:
While filing your nails make sure that you never file the corners of your nails because filing the corners of nails will weaken the nails and you will find that they will break more easily.
